Tiago de Moraes das Chagas was born in Marília, São Paulo, on September 17, 1981. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Univem and currently serves as director at Mustache Marketing. In addition to his business career, Tiago stands out as the author and creator of the comic book franchise Radius, which already has three volumes and has been gaining recognition in the Brazilian scene.
Radius blends elements of science fiction and dystopia with influences from Brazilian culture. Set in Marília, São Paulo, in the distant future of the year 3121, the franchise is a constantly expanding universe, featuring characters like the superhero inspired by Tiago’s own dog, Pituco — a symbol of love, courage, and loyalty, drawn from the bond between the author and his pet.
The Radius project was conceived in 1996 but only took its definitive shape during the pandemic, when Tiago dedicated time to rewriting the script and bringing his fictional universe to life. To bring Radius and other innovative stories to the public, Tiago founded Mustache Comics, a publishing house focused on producing and publishing comic books.
With a creative and entrepreneurial vision, Tiago moves fluidly between administration, communication, advertising, and the creation of impactful stories, aiming to spark reflections on the future of society. He is the father of Lucas Almeida de Moraes.
Brazilian, with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná, and currently pursuing a second degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in Embedded Systems.
Active in engineering since 2016, I began my journey working in research and development of self-sustaining energy systems, with a focus on pollution control and biofuel production from microalgae. Over the years, I specialized in industrial equipment design, complex mechanical systems, and product development for serial manufacturing.
I have professional experience with national and international clients, including remote engineering work for a UK-based company. I’m familiar with international standards such as API 650 for storage tank design. I’ve also led the development of industrial lifting systems, including a residential cable hoist for up to 2 tons and a pantographic car lift reaching 8 meters and supporting 2.5 tons.
I hold advanced skills in SolidWorks (complex surface and mechanism modeling), structural analysis, and mechanical product design. My core expertise lies in creating functional solutions for complex machines, driven by a deep passion for aerospace engineering and innovation.
“What inspires me most is seeing an idea leave the paper and take shape in metal, movement, and precision. That’s the beauty of engineering.” improvement and innovation.
